1. Advertising:
SMF will accept paid advertising. All advertisements must meet with the approval of the SMF board. Advertising rates are $10 per month for SMF members and $20 per month for non-members. SMF members can advertise for a full year at a $100 rate. Payment in a lump sum is encouraged for simplicity in record keeping. If a member decides to begin advertising mid-year, the fee will be pro-rated to $10 per month for the remaining months of the newsletter publication. Advertisements must be submitted to the newsletter editor in a format friendly to the newsletter editor's computer system.
2. Recommendations for services
SMF members may recommend and endorse individuals that they would like to introduce to the SMF community (music instructors, tutors, etc.). The newsletter or email announcements will include the name of the SMF member making the endorsement with their email address.
Individual recommendations are not necessarily endorsed by SMF.
3.Community Announcements
Announcements from established community groups and facilities need not be endorsed by individual SMF members, i.e.: (Outdoor Campus, Great Bear, Sioux Falls Park and Rec. Dept., Dakota Academy of Performing Arts, Washington Pavilion, etc.). Approved by the SMF Board 2007.
